The ALIPEM™ range represents a powerful line of broad-spectrum injectable antibiotics containing Meropenem, a carbapenem-class β-lactam antibiotic, designed for severe bacterial infections.

Mechanism of Action

  • Meropenem: Inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to cell lysis and death.

  • Sulbactam (in ALIPEM™-S): A β-lactamase inhibitor that protects Meropenem from enzymatic degradation, broadening its antibacterial spectrum.

Indications / Therapeutic Uses

ALIPEM™ formulations are indicated for the treatment of:

  • Severe respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)

  • Intra-abdominal infections and peritonitis

  • Skin and soft tissue infections

  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs) including complicated cases

  • Bacterial meningitis

  • Septicemia and bloodstream infections

  • Gynecological and post-surgical infections

Dosage & Administration

  • Administered intravenously (IV) as per physician’s direction.
