Indications
MOXIAGE™ is prescribed for various bacterial infections, including:
MOXIAGE™ 400 mg Tablets
Respiratory Tract Infections – Pneumonia, acute bacterial sinusitis, and chronic bronchitis exacerbations.
Skin & Soft Tissue Infections – Cellulitis, abscesses, and wound infections.
Intra-Abdominal Infections – Complicated bacterial infections in the abdomen.
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) – Complicated UTIs and kidney infections.
MOXIAGE™ 0.5% Eye Drops
Bacterial Conjunctivitis – Treats red, inflamed, and infected eyes.
Eye Infections – Used for post-surgical bacterial infections.
Preventive Use – Helps in eye infection prevention before and after eye procedures.
MOXIAGE™ is not effective against viral infections like the common cold or flu.
Dosage & Administration
MOXIAGE™ 400 mg Tablets
- Take one tablet (400 mg) daily with or without food.
- The usual treatment duration is 5-14 days, depending on infection severity.
- Do not crush or chew the tablet. Swallow it whole with water.
MOXIAGE™ 0.5% Eye Drops
- For bacterial conjunctivitis: Instill one drop in the affected eye 3-4 times daily for 7 days.
- Do not touch the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
- Remove contact lenses before applying the drops.
For Patients with Kidney or Liver Disease
- No dosage adjustments are usually required, but consult your doctor.

Tendonitis & Tendon Rupture Risk – Rare but serious side effects, especially in elderly patients or those on corticosteroids.
